What we do not collect from pages
We do not ask for your name in order to read. We have no cart, account, or newsletter. We do not sell lists of people, because we do not keep such a list on the site.
When you write to us
If you send an email to [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected], we receive your address, the content of the message, and any attachments. We use the message to reply or to correct a page. We do not use it to send you offers, because we have no offers.
The phone number +1 347 808 0545 belongs to the operator. A call or a voice message contains your number and what you say. We use it for the same purpose: correspondence about the site.
Technical logs
The provider that hosts the site may record, in the ordinary log of a server, the IP address, the date, the page requested, and the kind of program you used to open the site. We do not operate a panel from this page in which we read those logs day by day. If you need a detail about them, write to [email protected] and we will tell you what we can learn from the provider. We do not invent a retention period here that we do not control.
Cookies and browser storage
The only choice we save ourselves is cookie consent, in the plb_consent cookie and, as a backup, in localStorage. The duration is about 180 days. The details and the buttons are in the cookie policy.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics tag and no advertising tag is loaded in the pages. A notice that brings you to the site runs at the advertising provider, before the visit. We do not set marketing cookies from these pages. If we add measurement or advertising, the categories stay off until a choice in the banner, through the mechanism described under cookies. We do not claim that we will “never” have such tags. We state that they are not in the site now and that they do not start without an accepted category.
How long we keep correspondence
We keep messages for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of a correction. We do not describe a fixed number of months, because we do not run an account database. You can ask for your correspondence to be deleted.
Children
The site is written for adults who look after an animal. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If a parent writes that a minor sent us a message, we delete it on request.
What you can ask for
You can ask for a copy of the emails you sent us, a correction, or their deletion, by writing to [email protected]. Name the address you wrote from, so we can find the message. The operator has an address in the state of New York, United States. We do not name a European Union representative on this page, because we do not have one to name.
If we change the policy, we change the date at the top. The version shown is the one that applies.
